Editor theme settings
This guide will walk you through the steps to change the theme of the BetterVoxel Editor. Follow the steps below to customize both the editor's appearance and the integrated code editor.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Open Settings
- Open BetterVoxel Editor.
- In the top-right corner of the window, locate and click the Settings button.
Step 2: Navigate to the Theme Options
- In the settings window, you will see a list of options on the left side.
- Click on the Theme option.
Step 3: Customize the Editor
In the Theme section, you can customize various aspects of both the editor and the integrated code editor.
Available Customizations:
- Editor Theme: Select between Light or Dark themes for the entire editor.
- Code Editor Colors: Customize the colors for different syntax elements like:
- Punctuation
- Whitespace
- Keywords
- Comments
- String Literals
You can use the color picker to choose the colors you prefer.
Step 4: Apply Changes

After selecting your desired theme or colors, click Apply to immediately see the changes.
- For example, to switch to Dark mode, select Dark, then hit Apply.

If you want to discard the changes, click Cancel.
Reset to Default
If you want to reset all customizations and return to the default settings, click the Reset visuals button.
